Tanner was the happiest, most lovable Golden Retriever. His favorite activities were running and playing ball. Tanner was diagnosed with melanoma and lived his life to the fullest for a year after his diagnosis. He passed away just a few days before his 9th birthday, in 2024.
This event began in honor of Tanner, in order to help the humans who love their dogs. The hope was that the funds raised may help people with financial support when it comes to their pets cancer treatments.
I have been so honored and humbled to receive such an outpouring of support for this cause. I truly feel blessed to know, and have met, such amazing people who have contributed to making this event such a success each year!
This year, we are raising money to help Moose! He is a 7-year old Golden Retriever, who lives locally (Clifton Park) with his family. Moose recently had surgery to remove a very large, cancerous tumor, and is currently recovering. All of the money raised at Tanner's Run will be donated to Moose's family to help with some of the cost.
Please join us for the 4th Annual Tanner’s Run! We hope to see you there!!
