Why join the Berkshire 32 Running Club? 

We are here to help create and support the running community here in the Berkshire with motivation and encouragement to achieve goals you never thought possible. 

We here at Berkshire Running Center bring over 60 years of experience to our community with knowledge unparelled in the area for the beginner  walker to the most seasoned athlete.  

Berkshire 32 represents the 32 towns and cities in Berkshire County.  We invite our members to join us in exploring all of them, together; often to see new places, challenge oneself, stay healthy, connect with communities.  

This club is being created to foster the amazing running culture here in the Berkshires.  We encourage you to join us, and if it is of interest to you; join our social media and message boards to share your experiences, invite others to join you on one of them or to find motivation from your fellow walkers.hikers and runners. 

We are also about the fun of a challenge. So, we are implementing incentives for you along the way.  

The 100 Mile Challenge: 

Walk or Run a 5K (3.1 miles) in EVERY town and 3.5 in the two cities Pittsfield and N. Adams and receive your Berkshire 32 award: A commemorative mug and a gift card for $32 to BRC, and a whole lot of bragging rights. 

The 1st One Challenge: 

Simple.  Be the first one to do all 100 miles in all the towns and cities of the Berkshires and win the mug and a $100 gift card to BRC. 

Social Media Posts Prizes:  the more we see the more we award prizes!  Post your runs with your friends or on your own and tag us #berkshire32 #berkshirerun and be eligible for even more great prizes 

THERE IS NO TIME LIMIT TO THE CHALLENGE, take a month or a year.  

Each partiicipant is responsible for tracking and recording their runs.  We will accept Strava, Garmin and also photos of your watch/map/ and something to prove you where there: i.e.  a photo in Tyringham at the Cobble with your 5K recorded proof.  Once you have completed all 32, submit your results to Shiobbean at director@berkshirerun.org 

Membership is $30 which includes your Berkshire 32 tshirt and car magnet!  

This makes a GREAT GIFT!!!!
