Lime Rock Park  5K 

This 5K Run/Walk is an new addition to the Lime Rock Park Epic bicycling event for 2025. 

The 5K running event will be held to help  support The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp.  This camp  is dedicated to providing “a different kind of healing” to children with serious illnesses and their families, free of charge. We are a community that celebrates the spirit of childhood, the sound of laughter and the feeling of endless possibility.

Founded in 1988 by Paul Newman, The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp provides "a different kind of healing" to thousands of children with serious illnesses and family members annually-all completely free of charge.

For many of these children and families, Hole in the Wall provides multiple Camp experiences throughout the year at the facility in Ashford, Conn., in dozens of hospitals and clinics, directly in camper homes and communities, and through other outreach activities across the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic.

Your donation provides hope, joy, and the healing power of Camp and supports Hole in the Wall’s growing programs. Thank you for being part of a caring community of friends who help bring Paul Newman's dream to exciting new places.

The race will take place on the speedway with runners and walkers completing two loops of the classic race track while the Lime Rock Epic bicycling event is happening off the course.

• 8:30AM – Lime Rock Park Epic – Start
• 9:00AM – Lime Rock Park Epic – Explorer Start
• 9:30AM- Lime Rock Park 5K Run/Walk Start 
• 11:00AM  – Lime Rock Park Epic – Express Start

Race Perks:

• Technical tshirts to the first 100 registered runners.   
• Post race Foolproof Beer to all 21 and over * ID required
• Students will be able to register for free, bring school ID present at bib pick up , grades K-12. *shirts are not included in free race registration.  Shirts available for purchase if available after the race.   
• Awards to the top three overall division winners and the top age division winners in 8 categories

• $35 8/1- 9/30 then registration is $40 10/1 until 10/11 then $45

Runners & Spectators Please Note

No Dogs or Pets
Due to safety concerns, no dogs or pets are allowed in the race.

• Headphone are potentially hazardous as you are limiting your ability to be aware of what is around you, course marshals, bikes, pedestrians and other traffic. For reasons stated we discourage the wearing of headphones.
• Wheelchairs and other disabled push strollers are welcomed. To help accommodate your needs, please contact us and let us know you are coming and we can help with any accommodations you require.

The Fine Print

Refunds
No refunds under any circumstances, including event cancellation or postponement.

Events are planned and paid for months in advance of the actual date. IF our event is canceled or postponed because of weather, pandemics, or other forces beyond our control, we won’t be able to provide refunds. In these rare situations, we’ll convert the race to a virtual one and mail you your full race goodie bag.

Due to regulations changes may be made to the course or race details for the safety of our participants and staff. Any changes will be communicated prior to the event via email, on our social media platforms, and on our website.
