What began in 1916 with just six runners has grown into one of the country’s premier Thanksgiving road races. Whether you are racing, walking with family, or cheering from the sidelines, we invite you to be part of this proud annual tradition.

Top two individuals and teams: Each may designate someone to join Mayor Mantello and other special guests on stage and sound the air horn to start a race.
Top individual and team: They will also be invited to the post-race charity check presentation and receive free entry into the 2027 Troy Turkey Trot—one entry for the individual and three for the winning team.
