Responsible for managing a course zone which includes ensuring volunteers assigned to the zone are placed in their respective spots and understand their roles before/during/after the race.

Put me where you need be! I'm willing to take a post along the course and tell runners/walkers which way to go, communicate public/participant safety announcements, and/or hand out water if needed.

In addition to the above, Marshals have the additional responsibility of stopping approaching traffic until runners have safely cleared the intersection. You may prefer to have previous race volunteer experience for this option.
