Welcome to the 37th Annual Shamrock Run, presented by the Irish Cultural Center of the Hudson Valley!

2025 Honoree:  In Memory of Eric Hansen, Beloved Shamrock Run Volunteer

2025 Beneficiary:  Ulster County SPCA

Yvonne Sill School Participation Trophy for the school with the highest student participation percentage, is sponsored by Mid-Hudson Valley Federal Credit Union.

***New Team Award: 2025 marks the inaugural Brian Hoek Memorial Award! Brian was a devoted Shamrock Run supporter and much beloved by this community.  His motto, "Making Things Happen, Getting Things Done" included a spirit of fellowship and camaraderie that extended to friends and strangers alike.  Each year, the largest team will win the Brian Hoek Memorial Award in honor of our dear friend.

START: Academy Green, Kingston, 12:50 sharp

FINISH: At the foot of Broadway

ENTRY FEES (INDIVIDUAL):

  • $30 to pre-register online until March 1st
  • $35 to register online after March 1st -- right up until race start!

ENTRY FEES (SCHOOL TEAM):  Joining a school will be counted towards the Yvonne Sill School Participation Award & Trophy! Only students count towards participation award, but adults can join a School Team too.

Please Note:  Your School will show in the drop-down list of teams when your Team Captain registers.  If you do not see your School in the list, please contact your Team Captain.

  • $30 to pre-register online until March 1st
  • $15 ages 16 & under *$15 discount is automatically applied before checkout.
  • $35 to register online after March 1st -- right up until race start!

ENTRY FEES (NON-SCHOOL TEAM): We welcome family groups, friend groups, civic organizations, etc.! Joining a non-school team will be counted towards the Brian Hoek Memorial Award!

Please Note:  Your Team will show in the drop-down list of teams when your Team Captain registers.  If you do not see your Team in the list, please contact your Team Captain.

There are no refunds, exchanges, nor transfers.

  • Registered by 3/1- Saturday T-Shirt Pickup: Saturday, March 15th, Location TBD 
    • Those registered under a non-School Team will pick up their bibs/shirts individually, not be issued to a Team Captain or other designee.  

Check in and Race Day Registration: Governor Clinton Apartments, 1 Albany Avenue across from Academy Green 10am - 12:30pm. Those registered under a school will pick up their bibs/shirts individually, not be issued to a Team Captain or other designee..

Post Race Party:  Rondout Neighborhood Center, 103 Broadway - ID Required for admission. 

GRAND PRIZE: $1,000 Gift Certificate towards trip to Ireland Prize is drawn randomly drawn from all registered runners. You must have a race number and be present at the Post Race Party to win.
